Real Me

"Life is for living, don't think I'm kidding." My cousin used to say that. I don't know if she coined it herself or just repeated one of those annoying off hand statements that just stick in your mind. It has certainly stuck in mine and every so often I actually try to apply what it says.
Take for instance a few years ago when I decided the 10 or so years I have spent as a teacher were probably not the most profitable investment I had made. Don't get me wrong, I believe in transferable skills, valuable work experience and all that. It was just that I knew there was something else I was called to do. So I retrained, started my business and decided I was on a mission to help other people be themselves.
So come on all you who have been or are still living in skins that are not yours, stand up and be real! Life really is for Living.
